5 Cell EXPLORERS workshops are on the 27th November 2016!
What is exhibition day? It is the final day and the highlight of the Galway Science and Technology Festival. Up to 20,000 visitors will participate in many scientific activities and attend free shows on the NUI Galway campus. Full programme at www.galwayscience.ie.
What can I do with Cell EXPLORERS? We have 5 exciting discovery workshops for children of all ages & their families (see on the left). Learn about cells and DNA, how microscopes work or about the research performed in NUI Galway! There is hands-on science and a chance to win a Science hamper, which include fantastci Science books donnated by Charlie Byrnes Book Shop, entering our workshop draws!
How do I get in? The Festival Exhibition shows are free and run from 10am-6pm on Sunday 27th November. Free tickets to the workshops will be released on Saturday, 19th November at 11am on the Eventbrite website: www.galwayscience.eventbrite.ie. 30% of tickets will be available to book on the day. No booking is required to access the main Exhibition area located in the Bailey Allen Hall at NUI Galway
Tips: Come in early for the morning workshops and try your luck at the door even if you don’t have tickets.
