Cell EXPLORERS present at Scientix 2022

The Cell EXPLORERS University of Galway coordination team recently presented at this year's Scientix conference. Scientix is a large community for science educators across Europe and includes STEM teachers, education researchers, policy makers, and other education stakeholders. The Scientix conference (http://www.scientix.eu/conference) is often very practice-focused, and celebrates and supports exchange of knowledge and best practice amongst all, and to inspire creativity and collaboration. This year it was online and featured 32 talks,15 STEM projects,8 hands-on workshops and 2 round-table discussions - all virtually attended by 1,200 practitioners!

Cell EXPLORERS presented two pieces related to their recent Giving Real Opportunities to Widen participation in STEAM (GROWS) project, supported by the US Medtronic Foundation. This project involves the dissemination of two our newest hands-on science activities: the CE Escape Room and the Science Club.

You can access both pieces by clicking on the links above. We would love to hear your thoughts! You can contact us on social media (@cellexplorers) or via email (cellexplorers@universityofgalway.ie)
